• Get Up Close with the Hive: You'll suit up in professional beekeeping gear and, under the supervision of an expert, hold frames of live bees, feeling the energy of the hive in your hands. Experience the warmth of beeswax and see firsthand how brood, drone brood, and drones develop.
• Find the Queen: With the guidance of our knowledgeable beekeepers, you’ll learn to spot the queen bee, the heart of the hive, and understand her crucial role in the colony's survival.
• Taste Honey Direct from the Hive: Enjoy the purest form of honey by tasting it straight from the comb, still in the wax—an unforgettable, fresh-from-nature experience (season permitting).
• Expand Your Honey Knowledge: Honey is more than just a sweet treat. Explore the differences between types of honey, including the renowned Manuka, and enjoy a guided tasting of at least five varieties. You’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for this golden elixir.
